Don’t feel overwhelmed when you start searching elder care at home. In addition to us, there are very good resources available to you. First off, I would recommend contacting your nearest area agency on aging (AAA). They are a wealth of information on home care agencies near you. They also manage two programs that may provide some care giving assistance to you:

• Senior Care Act.
• Older Americans Act.

Both of these programs provide limited assistance to families for respite care, attendant care and homemaking. You can also just call the Kansas Aging Disability Resource Center (ADRC) at 1-855-200-2372 and they will put you in touch with your nearest AAA.
